Turning 40 and Steve Jobs

Turning 40 is something really interesting! It just adds few perspectives to our vision, and the long walks that all I had so far seems to be a practice ground, playing trial and error every day. I never gave much importance to age, it always appeared to me as mere number, and I loved to be 18 at heart all the time, and I guess I’m still at it.

The first thing that came in my mind while turning 40 is the quotation from Steve Jobs – ‘Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

That’s it…this is so very true, can’t emphasize more! This thought started becoming a dream. A dream, that doesn’t allow me to sleep! I know there is a long-haul ahead – though not sure how, where or when. But my intuition says, the journey starts now, just as this blog after so many years!
